Ad Copy Generator

Ad copy is offer, audience, proof and a verb - cut to the box. This generator builds RSA-ready headlines (RSA = Google’s multi-headline search ad, 30 characters) and descriptions (90) from those four facts. It does not invent a slogan you cannot keep on the landing page.

The tool

Try it here

Use this after the brief exists. If offer or proof is blank, you will get thin lines. Fill the brief first.

Facts from the brief

Lines with counts

Edited a line? Paste it into the headline checker.

Why it helps

Why you need an Ad Copy Generator

Blank RSA slots get filled with whatever the media buyer typed at 6pm. Those lines rarely match the page. If the ad and the page say different things, people leave.

A generator that ignores character limits is not useful. Every line here is counted. Over-limit lines are marked so you cut them before Google does.

Proof has to be a number, a name, or a constraint (free, no account, 30 minutes). “Loved by teams worldwide” is not proof and will not survive a 30-character cut.

Ad lines come from four facts COPY - FACTS IN, LINES OUT Offer Audience Proof CTA Then cut to the box: RSA 30 / 90, or Meta 125 / 40. Count after you edit. Proof is a number, a name, or a constraint. “We’re passionate” will not survive 30 characters. If the landing page cannot keep the line, delete the line. Message match beats clever.
No brief, no copy. The generator will not invent a claim the page cannot keep.

When

When to use it

  • Kickoff: brief is done, Ads UI is empty.
  • When you need a first 8–12 headlines before a copywriter pass - not instead of a legal review.
  • When Meta and Google need the same facts in different lengths. Generate, then run the Meta counter on a rebuilt primary.

How

How to use it

  1. 1Paste offer, audience, proof, CTA from the brief. Short phrases, not paragraphs.
  2. 2Read the headlines. Anything over 30 is marked. Shorten the source facts, do not pad.
  3. 3Read descriptions. Each should stand alone at 90. Copy passing lines into the headline and description checkers if you edited them.
  4. 4Delete any line the landing page cannot keep. If the ad says “30-minute demo” and the page says “talk to sales,” you will pay for the mismatch.

Example

Example: facts in, lines out

Acme brief: 30-minute demo, in-house performance leads, one naming + UTM path, CTA Book a demo, RSA 30, no “#1.”

You put in

Offer
30-minute product demo
Audience
In-house performance lead
Proof
One name in ads and GA4. Free.
CTA
Book a demo

You get

Headlines (≤30)
Book a product demo
One name in ads and GA4
Free. No account to start

Descriptions (≤90)
Book a 30-minute demo. Same campaign name in Ads and the UTM. Free.

These lines can go into the checkers, then Ads. A line like “Empower your synergy” will not appear because the inputs never said that. That is the point.

Result

What this changes for you

You start Ads with a set that already fits 30/90, tied to one offer. Review is “does the page match,” not “write 15 headlines from scratch in the UI.”

Common mistakes

  • Leaving proof blank and wondering why every headline is the offer repeated.
  • A CTA of “Learn more.” That does not name a next step. Use Book a demo, See pricing, or Get the sheet.
  • Shipping generated lines you did not read. The generator is a first pass, not a publisher.
  • Using this instead of the 30/90 checkers after you edit. Edits break the count.

FAQ

Ad Copy Generator FAQ

Is this an AI ad copywriter?

No. It templates lines from the facts you type and counts characters. If the facts are weak, the lines are weak. That is safer than a fluent paragraph you cannot land.

Will these ad headlines pass Google policy?

Length is not policy. You still cannot claim #1, guarantee outcomes, or use restricted claims. The brief’s constraints field exists for a reason.

Can I use the same ad copy on Meta?

Headlines often work as Meta headlines (40). Primary text needs a 125-character opening. Run the Meta counter. Do not dump 15 RSA headlines into primary text.

How many Google Ads headlines should I upload?

Google allows 15. Aim for 8–15 unique passing lines. Three is the serve minimum, not the goal.
